There's a new firmware update rolling out today for the Galaxy S9+. It appears to be a modest update given that the handset already comes with Android viii.0 Oreo out of the box and there haven't been any major platform updates since that take yet to arrive on the new flagship. Samsung has only released this update for the larger model so far simply it may just be a matter of time before the Galaxy S9 gets it also.
New firmware update for the Galaxy S9+
Samsung is rolling out firmware version G965FXXU1ARCC for the Galaxy S9+. The update has been released over-the-air in Germany just so far just it shouldn't take long before it'due south available in other markets equally well.
The update itself weighs in at 287MB and it's just post-obit the tendency of minor updates having substantial download sizes. The changelog is short and sugariness, pointing out that this update improves the telephone call stability on the handset as well as the quality of wallpaper.
Don't fret because the March 2018 security update isn't mentioned in the changelog. Samsung has already released the latest security maintenance release for the Galaxy S9 and the Galaxy S9+. The new flagship was actually amongst the first few devices to receive the latest security patch before this calendar month.
Keep an centre out for this update equally it should be rolling out in other markets shortly enough. Let us know in the comments below if it's already available for download in your region.
